There are indeed different figures declared by the organizers, who tend to underestimate the numbers, unlike the Ministry, which tends to inflate them. There have been several cycles of protests against pension-related reforms in France over the past decades: in 1995, 2003, 2010, 2019-2020, and 2023. The protests in 2010 and 2023 took place over the greatest number of mobilization days, with twelve and thirteen days of protests called by the unions. In 2023, the protests against the pension reform proposed by the Borne government gathered up to 1.28 million protesters, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
