This statistic shows the opinion of the French on the idea of legalizing cannabis consumption under conditions in France between 1977 and 2024. Since the early 2000s, there has been a shift in the mentality of the French on this topic, and it was in 2021 that the "legalizers" were in the majority for the first time. However, in 2024, the French were mostly opposed to decriminalization.
