This statistic presents the Spanish tennis players who had won at least one medal in the Olympic Games up to the edition held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. In those Games, partnering with Marc López, Rafael Nadal won his second gold medal after the one he won in the individual category eight years earlier in Beijing. In any case, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, with two silvers and two bronzes, remained the tennis player with the most Olympic medals in the country and the only one who had won two in the same Games, both in Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996. Conchita Martínez, for her part, won medals in three different editions: in Barcelona and Atlanta, partnering with Arantxa; and in Athens 2004, alongside Virginia Ruano.
