The Chinese athletics team won *** gold medals at the Summer Olympics as of 2024 and ** at the Winter Games as of 2022. To boost sports performance, the Chinese government implements different policies to develop sports infrastructures and provides strong financial support to the athletic team. These measures have brought more Olympic medals to the country.
