* The source adds the following information: "Localized Potential Accessibility (LPA) allows for understanding the availability of services at the municipal level. It is expressed as a density by relating the number of accessible professionals, in full-time equivalent, to the population (per 100,000 inhabitants). This indicator takes into account, on the supply side, the activity level of professionals in the municipality of residence or neighboring municipalities and, on the demand side, the age structure of the population within the professionals' service area (see Barlet et al., 2012a for more details).
In this study, the LPA is examined at 4 levels: the first level concerns municipalities where the LPA is the lowest (less than or equal to half the national average); the second level groups municipalities with low LPA (between half the national average and the national average inclusive); the third concerns municipalities with high LPA (that is, higher than the national average but less than or equal to twice this average); the fourth concerns municipalities where the LPA is the highest (greater than twice the national average)."
