The source adds the following information: "This barometer is an index (based on 100) that assesses the level of compliance of territories with different objectives such as: achieving a 10 percent market share of electrified vehicles; reaching 70 percent penetration of pure electric vehicles compared to electrified vehicles; the necessary volume of charging points to achieve this goal (3.3 points per 1,000 people of driving age); and that 30 percent of these infrastructures are fast or ultra-fast charging. With these elements, an assessment is made, with the level or value 100 representing full compliance with these objectives. On this scale, and depending on the different degrees of achievement of the objectives, a value or level is assigned to each territory."

The electromobility barometer assesses the level of compliance of territories with various objectives, such as achieving a ** percent market share of electrified vehicles or reaching a ** percent penetration of pure electric vehicles relative to electrified vehicles. Depending on the degree of achievement of the different objectives, a score is assigned to each territory, with 100 being the maximum possible score. In the case of Spain, the Community of Madrid received a rating of **** out of 100 in 2024, becoming the autonomous community with the highest electromobility. Navarra and Catalonia ranked second and third, respectively. It is worth noting, however, that only five Spanish regions exceeded the national average score, which was **** in 2024.
