Citation formats

Until 2020, the annual cheese consumption in Spain had been gradually increasing. Thus, approximately 410 million kilograms of this dairy product were consumed in the country in 2020, almost 50 million more than the previous year. However, this trend was interrupted in 2021, and by 2022, the intake of this dairy product had decreased by 60 million compared to 2020, falling below 350 million. In the following two years, however, it increased again, approaching 370 million in 2024.
