Like other capitals or metropolitan areas, tourist bookings remain stable throughout the year. In these cities, the months of July and August do not account for more than ** percent of the annual overnight stays booked through platforms. This is also the case for Marseille and Lyon, for example.
For cities such as Bayonne, Toulon, or La Rochelle, tourists mainly book during the summer season.
Conversely, like Paris, Nice attracts a continuous flow of tourists throughout the year. The metropolis recorded more than * million bookings in 2019, ranking second in the list of the most booked French cities online among private individuals.
