This statistic shows the evolution of the share of wood used by IKEA coming from sustainable sources, that is either FSC certified or recycled, from 2011 to 2023. Wood is the most used material by IKEA, and in 2020, IKEA reached its forestry goal of using wood that comes at least ** percent from more sustainable sources. Following the war in Ukraine and the halt of supply from Russia and Belarus, the share of wood used from sustainable sources slightly declined in 2023.
