The American company BlackRock topped the ranking in 2016 with assets under management of approximately * trillion U.S. dollars, ahead of the American group Vanguard and the Swiss group UBS, which managed nearly * and * trillion U.S. dollars in assets, respectively.
In this ranking, Crédit Agricole, a French asset management company, was among the ten largest global asset management companies with nearly * trillion U.S. dollars in assets managed on the global market.
