For every year since 2016, Charles Schwab's assets under management (AUM) belonging to their investor services business line have been larger than those belonging to their advisor services business line. In 2024, the total AUM of these two business lines amounted to ****Â and four trillion U.S. dollars respectively. The investor services business line covers retail investors and retirement plans, among several other services, while advisor services concentrates on providing custodial, trading, banking, and support services to registered investment advisors and their clients.
