This statistic presents the percent of men and women who had attended bullfighting events according to a survey conducted between March 2021 and February 2022 in Spain. The attendance level decreased significantly during the analyzed period, so that only *** percent of the men surveyed attended this type of event. It is worth noting that the restrictions applied to the holding of social and festive events during 2020 and 2021 as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic affected not only the bullfighting sector but also many other recreational areas.
