The data were collected from the "Household Food Consumption Panel," a study by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food included in the National Statistical Plan and prepared based on data provided by the company Taylor Nelson Sofres SAU.
The fresh meat category includes beef, chicken, sheep/goat meat, pork, rabbit meat, other fresh meats (ostrich, turkey, other fresh meats not previously mentioned), veal offal, chicken offal, lamb offal, pork offal, and offal from other sources.
This statistic shows the monthly evolution of fresh meat purchases in Spain from January to December 2024. The highest purchase of fresh meat occurred in December. In that month, the volume of fresh meat consumed in the country reached *** million kilograms.
