The data were collected from the "Household Food Consumption Panel," a study by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food included in the National Statistical Plan and prepared based on data provided by the company Taylor Nelson Sofres SAU.
The source adds the following information:
"Traditional stores: fishmongers, butcher shops, delicatessens, dairies, herbalists, frozen food stores, markets and plazas, bakeries, bars, wineries, pharmacies, greengrocers, fruit shops, food and grocery stores.
Other channels: canteens, cooperatives, home delivery, flea markets, self-consumption, direct purchases from producers, others (including e-commerce)."
* The e-commerce category is detailed but its figure is included within "other channels," therefore the result without online sales data already sums to 100 percentage points.
