In recent years, the distrust of Spaniards in the news has experienced a general increase, reaching its worst figure in 2023. Specifically, ** percent of the country's population was skeptical of the information published by the media. Not only that, but for the second time in the analyzed period, the percentage of people who did not trust the majority of published news pieces exceeded those who did, even though the level of trust has slightly increased compared to 2022.
