Percentage of renewable energy consumption by country in Europe in 2023
In 2023, approximately ** percent of the energy consumed in Norway came from renewable sources. This made it the European country with the highest penetration of this type of clean energy. Sweden and Finland ranked second and third respectively. In Spain, on the other hand, renewable energies still accounted for slightly less than ** percent of the total energy consumed in the country.
