* The REINA report comprises a comprehensive study that includes the Central, Territorial, and External Organizations of the General State Administration, Autonomous Agencies, Managing Entities and Common Social Security Services, State Agencies, Public Business Entities, and other Public Organizations, totaling 280 Management Bodies.
Each of these bodies, in turn, has one or more information units, which constitute the basic data collection units. For this report, their number exceeded 300 units.

This statistic shows the distribution by ministry of the ICT staff of the General State Administration of Spain as of January 1, 2018. The Ministry of the Interior had the most permanent positions in information and communication technologies during that year, followed by the Ministry of Defense with positions.
