Despite its status as one of the most successful IT providers, Cognizant’s employment numbers pale in comparison to many of the world’s largest employers. Within the tech industry specifically, IBM holds a lead on Cognizant in employee count, although both of these IT service providers fall short compared to Amazon's workforce of nearly **** million employees in 2025.
