Finding a balance between professional and private life was the factor that weighed most heavily on the mental load of French mothers in February 2022, with nearly ** percent of respondents affected. This figure rose to ** percent when the mothers belonged to a higher Socio-Professional Category. Preserving couple time was a problem for ** percent of the mothers surveyed and was the primary factor cited among inactive women. The third factor was managing schooling, which weighed on the mental load of ** percent of mothers. It was also the primary factor among mothers without a diploma or those holding only a CEP or a BEPC. In 2022, nearly ** percent of mothers are or have been faced with parental burnout.
