In 2024, around 84 percent of the adults aged 45 years and above surveyed in the United States found cancer screening to be very important, with almost all respondents finding it important to some extent. Meanwhile, only 57 percent of respondents reported perceiving vaccination (flu, shingles, etc.) to be very important, with 15 percent considering it not too important or not important at all.
