According to a survey conducted among Australian consumers in August 2024, the most popular item purchased at service stations among convenience-only shoppers not buying fuel was cold beverages, at ** percent of respondents. Coffee and other hot beverages alongside snacks were other prevalent items bought among those surveyed. Compared to 2022, more respondents indicated purchasing snacks, and fewer reported buying fast or takeaway food in 2024.
