According to a survey conducted among Australian consumers in August 2024, the most popular item purchased at service stations among shoppers buying both fuel and convenience items was coffee or other hot beverages, at ** percent of respondents. Cold beverages alongside chips, lollipops, or other snacks were other prevalent items bought among those surveyed. Compared to 2022, more respondents indicated purchasing cold beverages, and fewer reported buying fast or takeaway food in 2024.
