According to a survey carried out in 2024, around of adults in the United States who were aged 50 years and above said they would choose telehealth visits over in-person ones if it was just to ask a simple question. Furthermore, other reasons why the majority of respondents would opt for telehealth visits included getting prescription refills, checking on test results, and not being able to get an in-person appointment right away.
