Between 2015 and 2024, the import value of roasted chicory and other coffee-free coffee substitutes in the Netherlands fluctuated between *** and million euros, a peak that was reached in 2016. Exports, on the other hand, witnessed a significant increase: while always amounting to only *** million euros until 2020, they reached **** million in 2022. This figure remained stable as of 2024.
