In 2022, 12.7 percent of children in Ghana aged five years and younger had stunted growth. This was a decrease by ****percent compared to the preceding year. The prevalence of stunting is the percentage of children who are younger than five years old, and whose height for age exceeds two standard deviations below the median of the international reference population for ages of 59 months and younger.Â
