Salary rate is the gross amount in cash and/or kind, paid regularly and guaranteed to the worker during the reference period and corresponding to the normal working period. It includes, in addition to the basic salary, regular and guaranteed bonuses and allowances linked to the characteristics of the job. It excludes bonuses, allowances, and gratuities linked to the individual characteristics of the worker and all other bonuses and gratuities, such as the payment of overtime and meal allowances.
