The question was as follows: "To what extent do you support or oppose Australia’s transition away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy generation?"
The Ipsos Climate Change Report is conducted annually via the online Ipsos Omnibus panel.Â
Each year, approximately 1,000 Australian adults aged 18 and older are asked to select environmental issues facing the nation and a series of questions related to climate change. Data is weighted to match the profile of the population.
Results exclude respondents with a neutral response, i.e. neither support nor oppose.
