A total of 82 countries had set renewable power targets in both National Determined Contributions (NDCs) and national policies worldwide as of mid-October 2022. The Sub-Saharan region in Africa accounted for the largest number of targets both in NDCs and national policies. Meanwhile, Europe was the region with the most renewable power targets in national policies only.
