As of 2024, the vast majority of global institutional investors had a negative sentiment towards the issue of greenwashing. Many survey respondents noted the issue had increased, with ** percent stating this was a "somewhat greater problem" or a "much greater problem". Roughly **** percent of those surveyed felt greenwashing was "somewhat or much less" of a problem.
