The number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Mexico increased between 2020 and 2023. From 2020 to 2021, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the total number of SMEs remained practically stable. However, with the economic recovery after the pandemic, a noticeable increase occurred, and by the end of 2023, Mexico had ***Â million SMEs.
