The number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) created in Mexico has been rising between 2020 and 2023. In 2020, with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, around thousand new SMEs were created. In 2023, with the country fully recovered from the constraints of the pandemic, more than *** million new SMEs were created.
