In the U.S., dementia was more common among participants in adult day services centers (ADSCs) that were nonprofit than for-profit. As much as ** percent of participants in not-for-profit ADSCs providing specialized dementia care actually had dementia. In 2020, half of ADSCs in the U.S. were nonprofit.
