In a 2024 survey, ** percent of respondents in Saudi Arabia who came from a lower income class said that they lost weight during the month of Ramadan. The highest share of respondents who said that they lost weight during the month were between 35 and 44 years old, at ** percent. In the same survey, ** percent of respondents said they saw Ramadan as an opportunity to reset their bodies, and ** percent said they tended to eat more home-cooked meals during the month.
