During the first six months of 2024, entertainment apps were the highest-grossing app category in Mexico, generating a revenue of more than 64 million U.S. dollars. Photography apps ranked second with over 28 million U.S. dollars in revenue generated during the same examined period. Productivity apps followed, making approximately 24 million U.S. dollars in revenue in the Mexican market during the first half of 2024.
