With the use of recycled materials in cell production, the carbon footprint of Northvolt battery cells could be reduced to ** kg COâ‚‚e/kWh. Northvolt has set the goal of reducing its cell production carbon footprint to ** kg COâ‚‚e/kWh by 2030.
