Electronic identification usage in Belgium in 2023, by age
In 2023, 90 percent of individuals in Belgium aged between 25 and 34 years used electronic identification. Furthermore, 73 percent of those between 35 and 44 years used e-IDs for services provided by public authorities or public services in Belgium, compared to 15 percent of individuals of the same age group using them for services provided by public authorities in other European countries.
