According to a survey conducted in 2023, ** percent of Americans thought that climate activism, such as protests, rallies, and volunteering, was not too effective or not at all effective at getting elected officials to act on climate change in the United States. In contrast, only ** percent of Americans felt that climate activism was extremely or very effective at facilitating action among elected officials.Â
