Over half of SUVs leased in the Netherlands in the first half of 2024 were battery electric vehicles (BEV). D-segment SUVs were the passenger cars with the highest share of lease registrations being for battery electric vehicles. Meanwhile, A-segment cars, such as Kia Picanto was the type of car with the lowest share of lease registrations being for BEVs.
