A third quarter 2023 survey of mobile gamers in the United States and Canada found that for about a quarter of respondents, a negative game update did not particularly impact their decision to abandon the game or not. Almost as many responding gamers stated that they would give it *** to four weeks. However, about ** percent of respondents would quit playing a game with a poorly received update within a week.
