In 2023, more than half of LGBT adults surveyed in the United States reported having felt anxious in the past 12 months, compared to only ** percent of non-LGBT adults. Furthermore, the share of LGBT individuals who felt lonely and depressed was ** percent and ** percent, respectively, which was more than twice as high as the share of non-LGBT individuals.
