In 2023, the General Motors Company recorded a global water intensity of around five cubic meters per vehicle. This was a decrease of nearly nine percent as compared to the previous year. The global water intensity of GM's vehicles had declined over the past few years. The manufacturer aims to decrease its global water intensity to 3.71 cubic meters per vehicle by 2035.Â
