A significant share of the biofuels produced in 2034 are projected to come from traditional feedstocks such as food and feed crops. This comes despite an increasing concern in some countries about the impact of biofuel production on land use and food security. Meanwhile, advanced feedstocks, such as waste oils and fats, are expected to account for billion liters of biofuel production.
