According to the results of a survey fielded in Mexico in 2024, respondents mainly subscribed to SVOD services because they wanted to access specific content only available there. Similarly, survey participants (around ** percent) also subscribed to see originals and exclusive series and movies. For ** percent of Mexicans ad-free viewing was a good enough reason to sign-up to an SVOD platform.
