A 2023 survey of weekly gamers worldwide found that 75 percent of respondents in Spain played video games as a healthy outlet from everyday challenges, the highest rate out of all observed markets. About 73 percent of respondents in Poland stated the same. In contrast, only 39 percent of gamers in South Korea claimed that video games helped them as a distraction from everyday challenges.
