Around percent of respondents aged between 16 and 24 years in a survey conducted by in 2024 stated that they were willing to pay the same price as a conventional car to purchase an electric car. Other age groups had a similar opinion, though about a quarter of respondents aged 55 and older answered that they were willing to pay up to ** percent higher than a conventional car.
