According to a survey conducted by in 2024, around percent of respondents aged 55 or older stated that they were not considering purchasing an electric car because they were still too expensive to purchase. About half of the respondents aged between 16 and 24 years and between 45 and 54 years also answered that electric cars were too expensive.
