In the first half of 2025, approximately 606,420 registered electric vehicles (EVs) in South Korea were passenger cars. That year, there were a total of around 774,880 EVs registered in the country. Amidst increasing public environmental awareness coupled with continued improvements of EV models, it was predicted that the number of registrations for electric vehicles would increase in the future.
