According to a survey conducted in February 2024, just a few days after the French Parliament passed the new Immigration Bill, the majority of French people still did not trust the government to effectively control immigration. Indeed, around ** percent of those surveyed thought that way. On the other hand, only ** percent of the respondents believed Macron's government was trustworthy.
