The rate of return generated by state-owned investors (SOIs) worldwide ranged greatly for fiscal years 2022 and 2023. Many SOIs delivered moderate returns. KWSP delivered intermediate rates of return, having generated a rate of *** percent in 2022 and six percent in 2023. Other SOIs, however, experienced large fluctuations in their rates of return. ATP, for example, delivered a negative return of **** percent in 2022, which scaled upwards to roughly ** percent in 2023.
