As of 2022, health facilities in Greater Accra registered the highest capacity of inpatient beds in Ghana, with over 4.6 thousand beds. However, the existing number of beds was notably lower. The Ashanti and Eastern regions followed with a bed capacity of around 4.5 thousand and 3.6 thousand, respectively. On the other hand, the Savannah region reported the least capacity.
